This week's question comes from Julie
"Hi Orna and Matthew,
Is there a book out that is excellent and affordable on how to get a man attracted and hooked on me emotionally, intellectually and create amazing chemistry?
The man who happens to be our child's father recently told me that he is meeting up with his ex for the week. I think I may have some blocks to love. I am now 44. When I met him I got engaged right away and then after being intimate one time got pregnant. I felt very sad thinking I may have made a mistake and I wasn't having lots of chemistry with him. I didn't like that when he smiled you see mostly gums instead of teeth. Plus he doesn't like to

Losing Your Enthusiasm for Dating?
This week's question comes from Therese:
Hello Orna and Matthew,
My enthusiasm is waning. Being a 58 year-old gal that sees the positive aspects of online dating is the sole thing that allows me to not give up hope. I have yet to meet or find any man that has any prospect of a solid relationship in my time that I have participated in online dating. This would be more than 5 years. The dating "gurus" continue to extoll that finding an eligible man is still possible. I yearn for a man that is decent, honest and interested in dating that would lead to a partnership in life.
Perhaps you can offer some guidance or words of encouragement?
Gratefully

Like Minded Men?
This week's question comes from Linda
"Dear Orna and Matthew,
I am an attractive, fit 64 female and want a life companion and friend/lover. Have not dated in years, how do I connect with like-minded men?"
---
Dear Linda,
Thank you for your direct question. We get asked this question a lot, and not to sound off putting, but you meet "like-minded men" at all the same places that you meet any other kind of man: Out in the world. There is not some special Starbucks or supermarket that all the enlightened, like-minded men hang out at.
We believe that the purpose of an intimate relationship is to grow together personally and spiritually. That the dating process

Is long-lasting love in the cards for me?
This week's question comes from Anna
"Orna and Matthew,
Thank you for your Love Notes. I hope you can help me.
I’m in my mid-40s and I’m starting to think that a great relationship is not in the cards for me…
I was married briefly in my 20’s, but that was just foolish young love. We broke it off after less than a year. Since then, I’ve struggled to find a man who is willing or able to commit to me. Honestly, I’ve put most of my energy into my career the last 15 years.
Because of that, I’ve been successful, but it has been at the expense of my personal relationships. I have great friends, however, I really struggle when it comes to allowing a man to get close

This week's question comes from Fern
"Hi Orna and Matthew,
I have been divorced for 22 yrs. - have focused on raising my children and now that they are all on their own - I want to find a love partner. I have read many books - John Gray - did the 'Call in the One' program - Surrendered Singles - have a dating couch with them and am on bi-weekly calls. I have had clearing energy work done and energy massages, asked all my friends to keep me in mind etc. etc. etc....
I also go to lots of social events, smile and give eye contact. I am 6' tall, attractive and very friendly.
I have not met my love partner and I have been doing everything all the experts say to do. I

Do I intimidate men?
This week's question comes from Debi:
Hi Orna and Matthew,
I have been following the two of you for a very long time and I just love seeing how you relate to each other. It’s obvious how much you love each other and I think you’re such a great example of a loving couple.
I’m curious about your thoughts about what men want. I hear from all my friends that because I’m a powerful woman that I intimidate men.
It’s clear that Orna is a powerful woman and since here you both are – one man, one woman – I thought I’d ask you if this is true.
I am so tired of doing it all even though I love my job and my kids, it’d be really great to share my life with one special
